RESULTS, IMPACT AND DOCUMENTATION

The project helped the students develop 21st century skills. They enhanced digital competence & ICT skills. They developed computational thinking. The students learned how & when to use technology & how to use coding to create innovative projects. It made them have deep thinking and creative design. It improved my STEM teaching methods. This project encouraged the collaboration & improved leadership & enterpreneurship. It helped the teachers to become facilitators & mentors in the project process. It improved students’ creativity, imagination,teamwork & productivity. It helped the students become European & digital citizens & communicate with European peers to explore diversities. It encouraged them to inquire, research & discover new knowledge, new countries & attitudes. They built friendship & partnership among European partners. USE OF TECHNOLOGY

In the first phase of brainstorming, me and Stefania as founders, we used facebook messenger & google docs to make the planning. Then, we shared the doc with partners, so they contribute their ideas. In the shared activities we collected our material in Google Drive & padlets. For sharing our work we used the Twinspace Pages because they are very useful. Collages were made with piktochart, smore & canva. For our online meetings we used the eTwinning Live Events. Our communication was also realized by Twinspace mails, Teachers’ Bulletin & chats, as well as Facebook messenger. We made use of google drive for our shared documents & youtube. We created codes in Scratch & Scratch Junior, the Minecraft platform & Cody Robby. We also worked on the Code.org platform, where we found tutorials & coding activities. PEDAGOGICAL INNOVATION AND CREATIVITY

The activities were designed according to the age level of the partners. We worked on transnational groups according to their digital skills. We took advantage of the main principles of collaborative-learning, peer-to-peer learning & project-based-learning. Many activities were designed to urge the students’ creativity on inventing new designs & codes, games with Scratch, Scratch Junior, code.org, learning apps, cody robby & minecraft. These apps were chosen in order to lighten up the curiosity of the children, the discovery, the concrete exploration, the procedure of experimenting with right & wrong, the collaboration, the learning-by-doing & the “fault teaching method” (debug). We applied new teaching methods (flipped classroom, gamification & CLIL) & used robots, story-telling & building in order to use coding as a creative & fun mode in all curriculum subjects.
